Fuel Shut-off Solenoid: Description and Operation

    When the ignition key is turned Off, the deceleration control solenoid valve cuts off fuel flow, thereby preventing the engine from running on. During
certain periods of deceleration, the solenoid valve reduces fuel flow, resulting in reduced hydrocarbon emission levels and improved fuel economy.
