Valve Body: Service and Repair

VALVE BODY

1.

Raise and support vehicle, then remove oil pan, filter and filter plate.

2.

Disconnect throttle control cable from throttle cam.

3.

Remove valve body attaching bolts and valve body. Use caution to prevent dropping valve body or accumulator springs.

4.

Ensure O-rings are correctly positioned on top of valve body, then install accumulator springs.

5.

Install valve body assembly, ensuring groove of manual valve fits onto manual control shaft detent plate pin. Torque attaching bolts to 8 ft. lbs.

6.

Install oil filter. Torque flange bolts to 4-5 ft. lbs.

7.

Reconnect throttle control cable to throttle cam.

8.

Install oil pan using new gasket, then torque attaching bolts to 8 ft. lbs.

9.

Refill transaxle.
