WHEN RELEASING THROTTLE
This bulletin revises 09-FL-010 to include A/T equipped vehicles.
This bulletin provides information related to an ECM software update of some Genesis Coupe 2.0L vehicles to address either of the following
conditions:

Malfunction indicator lamp illuminated with DIG P0605 (Internal Control Module ROM Error) stored in the ECM. Vehicle may have been operating
in the reduced power limp home mode.

Slow RPM drop when releasing the throttle during gear shifts or on deceleration from high engine speed
APPLICABLE VEHICLES:
Model: 2010 GENESIS COUPE (BK) 2.0L vehicles.
Affected vehicle production date range: Start of Production - July 10, 2009
NOTE:
To verify the vehicle is affected, check the version of the vehicle's control unit ROM ID with reference to the ROM ID Information Table before
attempting to update the control unit software.

After the ECM UPDATE, clear any DTC(s) from the control units which communicate with each other by CAN-bus, such as ESC, ACU, TPMS and
the Smart key system. (The ECM is an immobilizer type if the vehicle has the Smart key system.)
SERVICE PROCEDURE:
