ACTIVE HEADREST RESET PROCEDURE
DESCRIPTION:
This bulletin provides instructions on how reset the "Active Headrests" on the Genesis Sedan (BH) after they have deployed.
VEHICLES AFFECTED:
Model: GENESIS SEDAN (BH) with Active Headrests
Model Year: 2009 to Present
SERVICE PROCEDURE:
1. Remove the headrest from the vehicle by removing the retaining clip just below the right side headrest post base using a small screw driver or pick
tool. Lift up and remove the headrest by pressing the release button on the left side headrest post. Be sure not to lose the retaining clip. Re-adjusting the
seat back maybe required to remove the headrest.
