Release the 3 retention tabs on the latch cover and remove it from the door latch and actuator assembly. Discard the cover.

16.

Remove the cables from the door latch and actuator assembly. Install the new inside handle cable and the safety lock cable to the door latch and
actuator assembly.

NOTE:

The cable should be installed with the identification tape nearest the door latch assembly side. Refer to the table shown for cable location.

17.

Install the new full cover on the front side of the door latch and actuator assembly.
