WHEN A VEHICLE ARRIVES AT THE SERVICE DEPARTMENT, ACCESS HYUNDAI MOTOR AMERICA's "WARRANTY VEHICLE
INFORMATION" SCREEN VIA DCS ON-LINE TO IDENTIFY OPEN CAMPAIGNS.
DESCRIPTION:
This bulletin provides a procedure to replace the tow hitch control module and harness.

Model: Santa Fe (CM), Veracruz (EN)

Affected vehicle range: VIN's equipped with a port-installed or dealer-installed tow hitch and the original tow hitch control module.
NOTE:
Two (2) types of trailer hitch wiring harnesses have been installed on the affected vehicles. The type of wiring harness will determine the proper
service procedure. Look inside the driver's side rear bumper, behind the rear wheel, to determine which procedure is appropriate for each vehicle.
