2002-2003 SANTA FE RUNNING BOARD REPAIR KIT TO INCREASE CLEARANCE TO RIGHT REAR DOOR
DESCRIPTION:
On some 2002-2003 MY Santa Fe vehicles, the right rear door may rub against the running board cover, resulting in paint damage to the running board
cover and in some cases difficulty opening the right rear door. As a result, the vendor has developed a repair procedure that entails removing and
discarding the rubbing running board cover (right side) and aluminum extrusion (right side) and re-installing a new aluminum extrusion and running
board cover. The procedure will take approximately 15 minutes to complete. The Santa Fe Running Board Repair Kit shown is available upon request.
Please call the Hyundai Techline to report this condition and to request a kit. Each kit will contain enough parts and material to service one (1) vehicle.
Installation instructions are included in the kit.
IMPORTANT
AFFECTED VEHICLES CAN BE DETERMINED by looking at the right rear lower door area. Open and close the right rear door. If the door is
difficult to open or if the paint on the running board cover is damaged, the right side running board cover and aluminum extrusion should be
replaced.
