WARNING

Make sure the vehicles battery is fully charged! If necessary, attach a supplementary power source to the vehicles battery to ensure good 12V power
to the vehicle during ECM reprogramming.

ECM SPECIFICATION TABLE:

CAUTIONS BEFORE REPROGRAMMING:

1.

Conduct reprogramming with the ignition key in the "ON" position.

2.

Be careful not to disconnect any cables connected to the vehicle or Hi-Scan Pro during reprogramming.

WARNING

If reprogramming is interrupted, the manual update procedure must be used.

3.

Do not start the engine during reprogramming.

4.

Do not turn the ignition key off during reprogramming.

STEP 1:
Check that the vehicle was produced on or before February 4, 2002.

STEP 2:
Using the new 32MB (MegaByte) reprogramming card (which has the required software pre-loaded), connect the Hi-Scan Pro to the vehicle's DLC
connector.
