When the "REPROGRAMMING COMPLETED" message is displayed, the TCM reprogramming process is complete.

Turn the ignition to the OFF position for 20 seconds and then start the engine and check for proper operation.

Check for diagnostic trouble codes using the Hi-Scan Pro with the system software card. Erase all trouble codes.

MANUAL UPDATE PROCEDURE:

NOTE:

In the event that "01. SM 2.7D A/T SHIFT FEEL [AUTO]" fails to download the new TCM program, option "02. SM 2.7D A/T SHIFT FEEL
[ERROR] must be used.

NOTE:

Confirm all connections are established as shown in the "AUTOMATIC UPDATE PROCEDURE" before continuing.

Turn the ignition to the ON position.

Turn the Hi-Scan Pro ON.

3.

Select option "40. SM 2.7D A/T SHIFT FEEL IMPROVEMENT" and press ENTER.
