Steering Wheel: Service and Repair

1. Disconnect battery ground cable, then remove horn cover assembly.
2. Remove upper and lower horn plate.
3. Disconnect horn button connector, remove steering wheel locknut.
4. Scribe alignment marks on steering shaft and steering wheel, remove wheel using steering wheel puller tool No. 09561-11001 or 09561-11002, or

equivalents.

5. Reverse procedure to install. Torque retaining nut to 25-32 ft. lbs.
