Apply grease to the inside of a new bushing and set it between the cylinder and the rack.

Recommended grease:

Multipurpose grease SAE J310a, NLGI Grade # 2EP

Using Special Tool 09222-21100, install the new bushing into the cylinder.

NOTE:

Be careful not to damage the inside of the bushing.

Install the tie rod end stopper.

9)

Install the tie rod end.

10)

Install the tie rod end using new boot bands.

11)

Install the rack and pinion, in vehicle, following the procedure in the Shop Manual.
