The EGR Control Solenoid Valve operation may transmit a clattering noise through the firewall to the interior of the vehicle. This noise is most
noticeable during light throttle operation. To reduce this noise, a pad has been added to the solenoid bracket and the bushing has been modified.

Open the hood. Remove the mounting bolts from the EGR solenoid valve bracket.
