3. Check the D.O.J. outer race cage, balls and inner race for damage, corrosion or wear.
REASSEMBLY
1. Wrap the driveshaft splines (D.O.J. side) with a tape to prevent the boots from being damaged.
2. Install the boots.
3. Remove the tape
4. Fill the inside of the B.J. and B.J. boot with specified grease.
5. Fill the inside of D.O.J. and D.O.J. boot with specified grease.
6. Install the D.O.J. cage, the balls, and the inner race. Then fit the snap ring.
