Idle Speed/Throttle Actuator - Electronic: Adjustments
Adjustment conditions:
Engine coolant temperature, 176°F to 203°F.
Engine lubricant temperature, over 176°F.
Lights, electric cooling fan and all accessories, OFF.
Transmission, in neutral ("P" or "N" range for A/T vehicles).
Steering wheel, in the straight forward position (Vehicles with power steering).
Accelerator Cable Adjustment
1.
Loosen the accelerator cable.
Hyundai Multi-use Tester

Connect the hyundai multi-use tester to the diagnosis connector.
Trottle Position Sensor (TPS) Connector Location
TPS Output Test Hook-up

If the hyundai multi-use tester is not used install a tachometer, and connect a digital type voltmeter between terminals 2 and 4 of the throttle position
sensor (or terminals #1 and 20 of the C02-1 ECU connector).
Do not disconnect the TPS connector from the throttle body.
