Tiburon V6-2.7L (2004)
2.
Place the select lever in the 6th gear position.
3.
If the select cable is adjusted correctly, the reverse lockout tab just barely touches the reverse guide (without holding the shifter).
The reverse lockout tab barely touching the reverse guide means no lateral force on the tab. To confirm this, loosen the turnbuckle until the tab moves
away from the guide. Then draw the tab closer to the guide with the turnbuckle until the tab just barely touches the guide.
4.
If the tab is not touching the guide, adjust the select cable turn buckle until the tab just touches the guide.
5.
Lock the adjustment by locking nuts on either side of the select cable turnbuckle adjuster.
6.
Reinstall all removed components.
7.
Road test the vehicle in all gears to confirm normal shifting.
