Seat Back Frame: Service and Repair
Replacement
Seat Frame Replacement
1. Remove the following items:
A. Front seat assembly
B. Seat back
C. Seat cushion
D. Headrest
2. After loosening the mounting screw, then remove the front inside shield cover (A).
3. After loosening the mounting bolts, then disconnect the seat back frame (A) and seat cushion frame (B).
NOTE:
-
Remove the side air bag for replacing side air bag installation seat.

Before service, be fully aware of precautions and service procedure relevant to air bag
Tightening torque :
44.1 - 58.8 N.m (4.5 - 6.0 kgf.m, 32.5 - 43.4 lb-ft)
4. Installation is the reverse of removal.
NOTE:

Be sure to perform PODS re-zero with the GDS after replacing parts (passenger's)
