apply the parking brake.

b. Make sure the air conditioner is off.

c. If coolant or steam is boiling out of the radiator, stop the engine and call an authorized dealer for assistance.

d. If coolant is not boiling out, allow the engine to idle and open the hood to allow the engine to cool gradually.

e. If the temperature does not go down with the engine idling, stop the engine and allow sufficient time for it to cool.

WARNING: Do not remove the engine coolant reservoir cap or radiator cap  hen the engine coolant is hot. Hot engine coolant can cause serious
injuries.
