17. Align new subframe bushing with the mark previously made. Apply grease to the outer sleeve to facilitate installation.
18. Press in the new subframe bushing. The picture above shows the new bushing installation tool set up.
NOTE:
Do not replace the sub frame bushing more than 2 times on the same sub frame.
19. Reinstall all removed components in reverse order of removal.
Caution:
After installing the Steering Column Universal Joint Assembly, adjust the steering wheel so that it is properly aligned when driving straight ahead.
