4. Check continuity between automatic drive positioner control unit connector and ground.

Is the inspection result normal?
YES  - Replace automatic drive positioner control unit.  See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Memory Positioning Systems/Memory Positioning
Module/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement.
NO - Repair or replace harness.
3.CHECK DOOR MIRROR MOTOR
Check door mirror motor.  See: Accessories and Optional Equipment/Memory Positioning Systems/Testing and Inspection/Component Tests and
General Diagnostics/Door Mirror Motor/Component Inspection.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES  - GO TO 4.
NO - Replace door mirror.  See: Body and Frame/Mirrors/Service and Repair/Outside Mirror/Door Mirror Assembly/Removal and Installation/With
ADP.
4.CHECK INTERMITTENT INCIDENT
 See: Testing and Inspection/Initial Inspection and Diagnostic Overview/Intermittent Incident.

DOOR MIRROR MOTOR

Component Inspection

1.CHECK DOOR MIRROR MOTOR-I
Check that door mirror motor does not trap foreign objects and does not have any damage.  See: Body and Frame/Mirrors/Service and Repair/Outside
Mirror/Door Mirror Assembly/Exploded View/With ADP.
Is the inspection result normal?
YES  - GO TO 2.
NO - Replace door mirror. See: Body and Frame/Mirrors/Service and Repair/Outside Mirror/Door Mirror Assembly/Removal and Installation/With
ADP.
2.CHECK DOOR MIRROR MOTOR-II
1. Turn ignition switch OFF.
2. Disconnect door mirror connector.
3. Apply 12V to each power supply terminal of door mirror motor.
