11. Remove mounting bolts and then remove hood lock bracket assembly (LH/RH).
12. Remove washer tank and washer tank inlet. Refer to See: Wiper and Washer Systems/Windshield Washer Reservoir/Service and Repair/Exploded

View.

13. Remove ambient sensor. Refer to See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Ambient Temperature Sensor / Switch HVAC/Service and Repair/Exploded

View.

14. Remove GAS sensor (with intelligent A/C). Refer to See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Gas

Sensor/Exploded View.

15. Disconnect harness clamp from hood lock stay.
16. Remove mounting bolt and nut, and remove hood lock stay.
17. Remove horn (HIGH/LOW). Refer to See: Lighting and Horns/Horn/Service and Repair/Exploded View.
18. Remove ICC sensor integrated unit (with intelligent cruse control model). Refer to See: Cruise Control/Cruise Control Module/Service and

Repair/Exploded View/ICC (Full Speed Range).

19. Remove intelligent key warning buzzer. Refer to See: Instrument Panel, Gauges and Warning Indicators/Service and Repair/Intelligent Key

Warning Buzzer/Removal and Installation.

20. Remove power steering oil cooler.

VQ35HR models:

VK50VE models: 

21. Disconnect harness connector of refrigerant pressure sensor. Refer to See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Refrigerant Pressure Sensor /

Switch/Service and Repair/Exploded View.

22. Remove condenser assembly and condenser pipe assembly. Refer to See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Condenser HVAC/Service and

Repair/Removal And Installation.

23. Disconnect A/T fluid cooler hose (upper/lower) from fan shroud and remove A/T fluid cooler hose (upper/lower) from radiator.

VQ35HR, 2WD models:

24. Remove radiator upper hose and lower hose at radiator side.

VQ35HR models: Refer to .

Replacement/Exploded View.

25. Remove radiator.

and Installation.

VK50VE models: Refer to See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Radiator/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Removal

26. Remove crash zone sensor. Refer to See: Restraint Systems/Air Bag Systems/Impact Sensor/Service and Repair/Crash Zone Sensor/Removal and

Installation.

27. Disconnect harness connector of cooling fan.

VQ35HR models: Refer to See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Radiator Cooling Fan/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Exploded View.

VK50VE models: Refer to See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Radiator Cooling Fan/Service and Repair/Removal and

28. Disconnect all harness clip from radiator core support assembly.
29. Remove mounting bolts, and then remove radiator core support assembly.

CAUTION:
Operate with two workers, because of its heavy weight.

30. Remove the following parts after removing radiator core support assembly.

Cooling fan (LH/RH)

- VQ35HR models: Refer to See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Radiator Cooling Fan/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Exploded View.
- VK50VE models: Refer to See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Radiator Cooling Fan/Service and Repair/Removal and
Replacement/Exploded View.

Front bumper side retainer (LH/RH)

INSTALLATION
Install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
-

After installation, replenish the following parts.

- Refrigerant: Refer to See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair/Procedures/Refrigerant (VQ35HR models) or See: Heating
and Air Conditioning/Service and Repair/Procedures/Refrigerant (VK50VE models).
- Engine coolant: Refer to See: Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair/Refilling (VQ35HR models) or See:
Engine, Cooling and Exhaust/Cooling System/Coolant/Service and Repair/Refilling (VK50VE models).
- A/T fluid: Refer to  (VQ35HR models) or See: Maintenance/Fluids/Fluid - A/T/Service and Repair (VK50VE models).
- Power steering oil: Refer to See: Maintenance/Fluids/Power Steering Fluid/Service and Repair.
