Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove instrument lower panel LH. Refer to See: Heating and Air Conditioning/Blower Motor/Service and Repair/Blower Unit/Exploded View.

2. Remove mounting screw (A), and then remove ionizer harness bracket (1) from heater and cooling unit assembly.
3. Remove mounting screws (B), and then remove ionizer (2).

CAUTION:
Never touch the surface (ceramic part) of ionizer. It is the discharge electrode.

INSTALLATION
installation is basically the reverse order of removal.
