^ Manually move the column down by inserting a stubby flat-blade screwdriver into the center support bearing and turn counter-clockwise until the full

down position is achieved.

13. Remove Phillips head screw holding the tilt sensor (see Figure 21).

^ The tilt sensor is on the right side of the steering column.
