CAUTION:

Use only Genuine NISSAN Matic J. Do not mix with other fluids. Using transmission fluid other than Genuine NISSAN Matic J, or its equivalent, may
cause deterioration in drivability and transfer assembly durability, and may damage the transfer case assembly.

SERVICE PROCEDURE

1. Remove the transfer assembly from the vehicle and place it in a clean working area.

^ Refer to the DLN section of the applicable Electronic Service Manual (ESM) for removal information.

2. Disassemble the transfer assembly and replace the electric controlled coupling and the oil cover with the parts listed in the Parts Information section.
