Mount the new breather in the new location using the existing bell housing bolt as shown below.

Torque bolt to 75 N.m (7.7 Kg-m 55 ft.lb)

NOTE:

The old breather vent is bolted/attached at the water crossover tube on the rear of the engine. The new breather tube will be bolted/attached to
the back of the transmission bell housing.

CAUTION:

When inserting an air breather hose to the air breather vent be sure to inset it fully until its end reaches the radius curve.

When installing the air breather hose be careful not to crush or block the hose by bending or folding the hose.

^

For the A/T air breather hose insert it on the air breather vent so the paint mark is facing upward.

^

Ensure clips are securely installed to the brackets when installing air breather hose to brackets.

Make sure tube open ends are behind bracket as shown in Figure 4.
