Clutch Pedal Assembly: Adjustments

Pedal and Clutch Cable Adjustment

1. Adjust clutch pedal height, dimension (H) to 6.28-6.67 inch with pedal stopper or A.S.C.D cancel switch, Fig. 1,
2. Adjust withdrawal lever play, dimension (B), as follows:

a. Push withdrawal lever by hand until resistance is felt, then tighten adjusting nut.

b. Turn back adjusting nut 2.5 to 3.5 turns, then tighten locknut, Fig. 2.
c. Adjust withdrawal lever dimension (B) to 0.098-0.138 inch. Tighten locknut to 2.2-2.9 ft. lbs.

3. Measure clutch pedal freeplay , dimension (A), Fig. 1. Freeplay should be be 0.425-0.594 inch.
