CLAIMS INFORMATION

Service Procedure

Creak or squeak noise from the sunroof.

1.

Confirm the noise is coming from the sunroof area.

This noise may occur when driving over bumps or rough roads with the sunroof closed.

Use chassis ears or other suitable listening tool to confirm noise exact location before proceeding with this repair.

2.

Open the sunroof to the fully open position.

3.

Use mild soap and water (such as household dishwashing soap) to clean the sunroof sealing areas (see Figure 1).

4.

Use the sunroof switch to close the sunroof and then tilt it up.

5.

Use mild soap and water (such as household dishwashing soap) to clean the sides and rear of the sunroof seal (see Figure 2).
