Install a special washer on the rubber bumper-P/N 68598-AL5010 (see Figure 11).

The washer will move the bumper position outward.

The special washers are listed in the Parts Information.

5.

Snap the bumper back into its mounting hole.

NOTE:

Spray a small amount of silicone lubricant on the bumper to ease its installation.

"Sparingly" (don't put too much) apply a thin film or white lithium grease to the glovebox latch striker as shown in Figure 12.

7.

Confirm the rattle is gone.
