Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Remove reservoir tank. Refer to See: Radiator/Service and Repair/Removal and Replacement/Exploded View.
2. Remove air cleaner case (LH). Refer to See: Engine/Tune-up and Engine Performance Checks/Air Cleaner Housing/Service and Repair/Exploded

View.

3. Disconnect harness connector from cooling fan control module, and move harness to aside.
4. Remove engine under cover with power tool.
5. Remove cooling fan assembly from under the vehicle.

CAUTION:
Be careful not to damage or scratch on radiator core.

INSTALLATION
Note the following, and install in the reverse order of removal.

CAUTION:
Only use genuine parts for cooling fan mounting bolt and observe the specified torque (to prevent core support from being damaged).
