CONTROL ROD

Removal and Installation

REMOVAL
1. Shift the selector lever to "P" position.
2. Remove control rod from control device assembly. Refer to See: Adjustments (2WD), See: Shifter A/T/Service and Repair/Control

Device/Exploded View (AWD).

3. Remove manual lever from A/T assembly.
4. Remove control rod from manual lever.

INSTALLATION
Note the following, and install in the reverse order of removal.

When installing control rod to control device assembly, refer to "ADJUSTMENT". Refer to See: Adjustments (2WD), See: Adjustments (AWD).
