Control Arm: Service and Repair

1. Raise and support vehicle.
2. Remove axle shaft as outlined in Drive Axles, Bearings and Joints.
3. Remove stabilizer attaching bolts, then parking brake cable.
4. Remove shock absorber lower attaching bolts.
5. Put matching marks on suspension arm pin, then remove pin.
6. Remove suspension arm.
7. Reverse procedure to install noting the following:

a. When installing, tighten suspension arm pin to specifications after installing wheels and placing vehicle on ground.
