19. Remove rear oil seal from rear extension.

CAUTION:  Be careful not to scratch rear extension.

Inspection

If the contact surface on parking actuator support, parking pawl, etc. has excessive wear, abrasion, bend, or any other damage, replace the
components.

Installation 

CAUTION:  After completing installation, check A/T fluid leakage, A/T fluid level and A/T position. 

1. As shown in the figure, use a drift to drive rear oil seal into the rear extension until it is flush.

CAUTION:

Apply ATF to rear oil seal.

Do not reuse rear oil seal.
