SERVICE INFORMATION

If an applied vehicle exhibits hesitation or delayed throttle response, a new throttle pedal assembly is available to resolve the incident.

The difference between the current throttle pedal and the new one is that the new pedal does not use a spring loaded foot pad (see Figure 1).

SERVICE PROCEDURE

Install the new throttle pedal assembly using the procedures listed below.

NOTE:

The accelerator wire must be adjusted whenever any component of the accelerator pedal system is changed.
