Throttle Valve Cable/Linkage: Adjustments

1.

Adjust accelerator cable as follows:
a. Tighten adjusting nut, Fig. 3, until throttle drum starts to move, then back off 1 1/2-2 turns and secure with lock nut. 

2.

Adjust kickdown switch as follows:
a. Adjust clearance ``C'', Fig. 4, between stopper rubber and end of kickdown switch thread while depressing accelerator pedal fully.
b. Clearance ``C'', should be .012-.039 inch.
