Traction Control Relay: Testing and Inspection
Throttle Motor

1. Remove intake manifold upper collector.
2. Disconnect connector and manually push throttle valve to ensure that it moves from the fully closed position to the fully open position.
3. With throttle valve set at fully closed position, apply 12 volts (DC) across throttle motor terminal Nos. 1 and 2. Throttle valve must move in fully

closed direction.
