LIST "FUEL FAIL" CODE ON CLAIM
Whenever the vehicle "Check Engine" light is activated due to an engine management failure, a "Fuel Fail" code is stored by the vehicle ECU. This fuel
fail code must be included in the "Comments" section of the warranty claims submission whenever "Check Engine" light related repair work is
performed.
To retrieve the fuel fail code through the vehicle VCM, use the following procedure:

Switch the ignition OFF.

Wait five seconds and switch the ignition ON, without starting the engine.

Press the VCM button; the fuel fail code will display on the instrument panel LCD screen.
NOTE:
All "Fuel Fail" codes except 29 can be erased through JDS diagnostics. Code 29 can only be erased by disconnecting the vehicle battery.
