4. Inspect the positioning of the glass to see if it is not resting fully and correctly on the peg in the clamps. (Figure 1)

5. While carefully pulling the glass inboard to fully locate on the white support peg, ensure that the hammock is wrapped equally around both sides of the
glass, i.e. with the glass resting on the flat section of hammock. (Figure 2)

6. While still holding the glass in the correct position, tighten the front clamp to 8Nm (70lbf in). (Figure 3)

7. Repeat steps 5 & 6 for the rear clamp.

8. Operate door glass to check for full engagement within channel and correct functionality.

9. Reset the operational parameters of the window regulator:

^ Disconnect the window motor connector for a minimum of five seconds to clear the memory.

^ Reconnect the window motor connector.

^ Operate glass to the fully closed position; continue to hold switch in the "up" position for six seconds after closure.
