Remove the luggage compartment lid latch trim panel.

Disconnect the electrical connector.

6. NOTE:  Federal market vehicles only.

Remove the luggage compartment lid liner.

7. NOTE:  All vehicles.

Detach the luggage compartment lid latch actuator.

8. NOTE:  Non federal market vehicles only.

Detach the luggage compartment lid latch actuator release cable.
