7. Remove the front seat recliner motor trim cover.

8. Remove the front seat backrest.

Remove the front seat backrest retaining bolts.

Installation

NOTE:

-

Left-hand shown, right-hand similar.

-

Install new lumbar motor retaining clips.

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

-

Tighten to 35 Nm.

Removal

CAUTION:

-

Do not remove or carry out any repairs to the anti-whiplash system (AWS) on the front seat back.

-

In the event of the AWS operating, there are no serviceable components.

1. Remove the front seat recliner motor.

CAUTION:  Make sure that all trim panels are protected when the seat is removed from the vehicle.
