Special Service Tools
Removal
1. Carry out the parking brake cable tension release.
2. Remove both rear wheels and tires.
3. Detach the parking brake cable.

Reposition the parking brake caliper lever.
^
Detach the parking brake cable.
4. Remove the parking brake pads.
^
Remove the parking brake pad retaining pins.
^
Remove the parking brake pad anti-rattle spring plate.
^
Remove the parking brake pads.
5. Remove the parking brake caliper.
^
Remove and discard the parking brake caliper retaining bolts.
