Removal
All vehicles
1. Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud.
Vehicles with automatic transmission
1. Detach the transmission oil cooler inlet and return pipes.

Remove and discard the O-ring seals.

Cap the oil cooler inlet and return pipes and the oil cooler.
2. Detach the lower coolant hose.
Vehicles with manual transmission
1. Detach the lower coolant hose.
