Oil Pan: Service and Repair
Oil Pan (12.60.44)
Removal
1. Remove the air deflector.
2. Drain the engine oil.

Place suitable container under the vehicle.
^
Remove the drain plug and drain the engine oil.
3. Remove the oil pan.

Remove and discard the gasket.
Installation
1. NOTE: Make sure all surfaces are clean.
Install the oil pan gasket to the oil pan body assembly.
2. Install the oil pan.

Install, but do not fully tighten the retaining bolts.
3. Tighten the oil pan bolts to the correct torque figure 12 Nm, in the sequence indicated.

A new oil pan is supplied with the drain plug installed. Check that the drain plug is tightened to 25 Nm.
