Remove and destroy Bulletin S310-07, dated 06/05. Replace with this Bulletin.
Updated information is shown with asterisks and black bars.
Issue:
This Technical Bulletin is for information only, to inform dealers that if there is a fault with the fuel level sender unit, the fuel level sender unit can now
be replaced as a separate part on both normally aspirated and supercharged vehicles.
*Action:
To install a new fuel level sender unit, follow the procedure below.
NOTE:
On original jet pump modules on Normally Aspirated (N/A) vehicles between VINs M45245 to M79334, a complete jet pump module must be
installed. Only after the original jet pump module has been replaced with the latest level module, and having a subsequent jet pump sender failure,
can this Technical Bulletin be carried out.*

First-time repair only - VIN M45255 - N21879

another for any subsequent repairs to install a new fuel level sender from VIN N21880 to N52047.
NOTE:
Check DDW to see if a previous first time repair has been carried out on the fuel level sender unit, before carrying out the Service Instruction.*
