Headlamp Leveling Motor

Vehicles With: High Intensity Discharge Headlamps

Headlamp Leveling Motor - Vehicles With: High Intensity Discharge Headlamps (86.42.04)

Removal

1. Remove the front headlamp unit.
2. Rotate and detach the headlamp leveling motor.

Remove the high intensity discharge burner cover.

-

Rotate and detach the headlamp leveling motor.

3. Remove the headlamp leveling motor.

-

Gently pull the reflector assembly rearwards.

-

Remove the headlamp leveling motor.

-

Disconnect the headlamp leveling motor electrical connector.

Installation

1. To install, reverse the removal procedure.

-

Make sure the internal pivot is located in the slide.

2. Check the headlamp adjustment.

Removal

1. Remove the front headlamp unit.
2. Rotate and remove the headlamp adjuster cell.

Make sure the internal pivot is disengaged from the slide.
