Possible intermittent fault. Recheck DTCs.

INSTALL a new IC. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

In Car Entertainment (ICE) Head

B : THE MODULE DOES NOT RESPOND TO THE JAGUAR APPROVED DIAGNOSTIC TESTER - IN CAR ENTERTAINMENT (ICE)
HEAD

G195523t159 : CHECK ICE FOR DAMAGE

1. Disconnect the ICE head electrical connector FC094.
2. INSPECT the ICE head for damage.

-

Does the ICE head indicate any signs of damage?

-> Yes

INSTALL a new ICE head. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

-> No

G195523t160 : CHECK THE SCP + FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TO GROUND

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
3. Measure the resistance between the diagnostic connector FC001 pin 2, (Y) and GROUND.

-

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

-> Yes

REPAIR the SCP + circuit. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

-> No

G195523t161 : CHECK THE SCP + FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TO BATTERY

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
3. Measure the resistance between the diagnostic connector FC001 pin 2, (Y) and pin 016, BATTERY.

-

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

-> Yes

REPAIR the SCP + circuit. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

-> No

G195523t162 : CHECK THE SCP - FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TO GROUND

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
3. Measure the resistance between the diagnostic connector FC001 pin 10, (U) and GROUND.

-

Is the resistance less than 5 ohms?

-> Yes

REPAIR the SCP - circuit. CLEAR the DTC. TEST the system for normal operation.

-> No

G195523t163 : CHECK THE SCP - FOR SHORT CIRCUIT TO BATTERY

1. Turn the ignition switch to the OFF position.
2. Disconnect the battery negative terminal.
