Manifold Pressure/Vacuum Sensor: Service and Repair

Manifold Absolute Pressure (MAP) Sensor

Vehicles without supercharger

1. Remove the intake manifold.

Vehicles with supercharger

2. Remove the exhaust gas recirculation (EGR) valve.

3. Disconnect the air intake elbow pipes.

4. NOTE:  Make sure correct location of the ground strap is noted.

Remove the air intake elbow retaining bracket lower retaining bolts.
