Secondary Air Injection (AIR) Control Valve to Exhaust Manifold Tube - 4.2L, Vehicles Without: Supercharger

Removal

Right-hand drive vehicles

1. Center the steering wheel.

Lock in position, remove the ignition key.

All vehicles

1. Remove the right-hand exhaust manifold heat shield upper retaining bolts.

2. Remove the cooling fan motor and shroud.
3. Remove the air deflector.
4. Disconnect the secondary air injection (AIR) control valve to exhaust manifold tube.

Right-hand drive vehicles

1. Remove the steering gear coupling upper pinch bolt

2. Remove the steering gear coupling.

Remove the steering gear coupling lower pinch bolt.
