Front Door Panel: Service and Repair
Lower Trim Pad, Renew

RENEW

- Disconnect vehicle battery earth.

- Open door and fit seat protectors.

- Remove armrest.  See: Interior Moulding / Trim/Arm Rest/Service and Repair

- From inside door pocket, release guard lamp retainer, disconnect multiplug and remove lamp.

- Carefully prise trim pad away from the door and release from upper retainer.

- With trim pad displaced for access, disconnect loudspeaker and window lift switch multiplugs.

- Feed guard lamp harness through aperture and place trim pad on a workbench.

- Remove rear door pocket, and trim pad retainers.

- Fitting is the reversal of this procedure, noting that trim pad retainers should be checked for damage before refitting.
