Service Action H328 - XJ6/VDP 3.6 Crankshaft Sensor Gear Fixing Bolts
A small number of XJ6/VDP 3.6 vehicles requiring the replacement of the crankshaft sensor gear fixing bolts have been allocated. These defective bolts
may break, permitting the crankshaft sensor gear to loosen, causing a no start or engine misfire condition.
The vehicles listed below, which, according to our records have been allocated to your dealership, must have the four (4) crankshaft sensor gear fixing
bolts replaced before the vehicle is sold.
The labor allowance is 1.10 hours per vehicle and warranty claims should be submitted quoting code H328. The repair operation number is 18-30-14.
Parts will be shipped automatically to affected dealers based upon their number of affected vehicles.
