Shift gear selector lever to "N" position.

Install the linear switch, Fig. 4, A), but do not tighten the securing screws, (Fig. 4, B).
12.
Position the Setting Gauge (Service Tool JD 127) between the linear switch and side plate.
13.
Ensure that the Setting Gauge slot is fully installed onto the linear switch and tighten the securing screws.
14.
Remove the Setting Gauge.
15.
Repeat SERVICE CHECKS/Check system operation.
