Hood Latch: Service and Repair
Hood Striker Assembly, Renew

Open the hood, slacken the locknut and unscrew the striker.

Renew any damaged components and reassemble.

A distance of 62 mm from the end of the striker to the locknut may be used as an initial setting.
-
Adjust the striker (Fig.1) until the hood is flush with the fender.
Refit in the reverse order of the removal procedure.
